Description

Beach Drive, Nye Beach in Newport has a sidewalk that ends abruptly. The Handicap dip in sidewalk goes directly into traffic and the sidewalk ends for several yards!. Children and elderly are forced to walk on a very busy one way street.
Once the sidewalk ends, it starts again once past.. 735 beach drive. Near the Visual Arts Center.
It seems there are flower pots.. and barricades by someone that won’t allow walking on property.
As a Handicapped local citizen who frequents this sidewalk I am asking for you to investigate why there is no continuous sidewalk.
This is a danger to our community young and old alike!
